Oviya Responds to Viral Video Leak Claims with Poised Response
A video purportedly involving actress and former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Oviya made rounds on social media recently, sparking controversy. However, Oviya addressed the situation with a calm and composed response.

On her Instagram account, Oviya shared a post with her fingers crossed, seemingly acknowledging the rumors surrounding the alleged video leak. Fans and followers flocked to the post, and in response to one comment suggesting the video should have been longer, Oviya humorously replied, “Next time, bro.”

The video in question surfaced on the X platform (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, with users speculating that the woman in the clip, shown in a compromising position, had a tattoo resembling Oviya’s. Others, however, argued that the video might be a deepfake. THE WEEK has not been able to verify the video’s authenticity.
Originally from Thrissur, Oviya made her acting debut in the 2007 Malayalam film Kangaroo, starring Prithviraj. She has since appeared in Tamil and Kannada films, gaining further fame after her appearance in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1 in 2017. Some of her notable roles include Kalavani and Kirataka. Her latest film was Boomer Uncle, and her next project is titled Sambhavam.
